TaylorMade’s patented face technology is designed to control face flexibility and reduce the “cut” spin that can appear in fast-faced iron designs. By managing how the face reacts through impact, the Qi MAX helps produce straighter ball flights across the set. Distance remains strong, but more importantly, it’s predictable, allowing golfers to trust yardages rather than chase occasional outliers.

Individual Head Optimisation

Each iron head is designed with its own performance goal rather than relying on a single face shape across the set. Long irons prioritise launch and forgiveness, while mid and short irons are tuned for more controlled flight and precision. This individual optimisation helps maintain consistent gapping and trajectory from long iron through wedge, supporting more reliable shot outcomes.

Optimised Ball Flight

FLTD CG™ technology positions the centre of gravity lowest in the long irons and progressively higher as the set moves into the scoring clubs. This design promotes higher launch and easier playability where it’s needed most, while allowing greater control and accuracy in the short irons. The transition through the set feels natural rather than forced.

Refined Players Shape

Despite its forgiveness, the Qi MAX presents a cleaner, more aspirational look at address. A thinner topline, refined blade length, and reduced offset help the irons sit confidently behind the ball.
