The 950GH neo takes the best of the original 950GH and blends it with modern performance from the MODUS3 series. It’s designed to pair with today’s stronger-lofted, low-CG iron heads.

Still lightweight at 95g, the neo refines performance with a more rigid mid-section and softer tip, helping maintain spin and peak height—even in long irons. Technologies like MHT and MSA ensure that feel, control, and flight suit the demands of modern amateur golfers, giving you a sharp, responsive swing with improved landings and better distance control.

A modern classic, purpose-built for today’s iron designs.

The N.S. PRO 950GH neo builds on a proven legacy. Since its introduction in 1999, the original 950GH has become the benchmark for lightweight steel shafts, used in the bags of over 250 tournament winners and sold more than 40 million units worldwide. But iron designs have changed. With stronger lofts, larger profiles, and lower centres of gravity now common, the need for a shaft that better complements these modern heads has become clear.

The 950GH neo is Nippon’s response—an evolution of their iconic design, re-engineered to fit today’s game.

Modern Performance for Modern Irons

While retaining the lightweight and trusted feel of the original 950GH, the neo has been fine-tuned to suit contemporary iron heads better. Today’s stronger lofts often reduce spin and produce flatter trajectories. The 950GH neo addresses this by adding a touch more rigidity in the mid-section and increased flex at the tip. The result is higher launch and more spin, helping players hold greens and improve distance control, especially in longer irons.

Advanced Craftsmanship

Borrowing from the technology found in Nippon’s tour-proven MODUS3 line, the 950GH neo uses proprietary Multi Heat Treatment (MHT) and Multi Shape Adjustment (MSA) processes. These deliver a more stable, consistent profile that works in harmony with the faster, low-spinning characteristics of modern iron heads.

Balanced Feel & Response

At 95g, the 950GH neo remains lightweight, allowing for a smooth tempo and increased control throughout the set. The shaft’s refined geometry and standard 0.600” grip size contribute to a sharper, more responsive swing feel. Even when fitted to long irons with low CGs, the neo promotes an easy release and full acceleration, helping players find their peak height with confidence

Designed for Today’s Golfer

Whether you’re looking to improve consistency, enhance spin, or simply get more out of your irons, the 950GH neo is tuned for the demands of the modern game. It wears its legacy with a bold new look, finished with an updated premium logo that complements the rest of the N.S. PRO lineup.
