Material Advantage
The Qi4D Tour fairway is constructed from titanium rather than steel, allowing engineers greater freedom in weight placement. By saving mass in the body, weight can be positioned low and forward, supporting faster ball speeds without increasing spin. This material choice is central to the Tour model’s ability to deliver a flatter, more controlled trajectory while still launching efficiently from the turf.
CG Optimisation
A large tungsten mass pad positions the centre of gravity extremely low and forward within the head. This CG placement helps reduce spin while maintaining speed, creating a flight that stays strong through the air and holds its line in varying conditions. The result is a fairway wood that feels stable through impact and predictable through the flight window.
Adjustable Performance
Three adjustable weights allow precise control over spin and shot shape, offering meaningful tuning rather than cosmetic adjustment. A 4 ° loft sleeve provides further control over loft, lie, and face angle, allowing the Tour fairway to be set up exactly to preference. The adjustability is intended to support fine margins, not to compensate for inconsistent strikes.
On-Course Performance
On the course, the Qi4D Tour fairway produces a mid launch with mid-to-low spin, delivering a penetrating flight that performs particularly well from the tee or firm fairway lies. Centre strikes feel powerful and controlled, while slight misses provide clear feedback without feeling unstable. Compared to the other Qi4D fairway models, the Tour offers less built-in forgiveness but greater consistency of flight and distance when struck well. it’s a club designed for trust under pressure rather than protection from error.
How It Fits Within the Qi4D Range
The Tour is the most demanding fairway wood in the Qi4D family. Compared to the Core, it spins less and offers more control over trajectory. Compared to the Max and Max Lite, it sacrifices forgiveness in favour of workability and speed control. It suits confident ball-strikers who want to shape shots, manage flight, and rely on feel rather than correction.
